About
Welcome to the Allie In Her 20s Lifestyle Blog. Allie is an East Coast-grown girl with a lot on her to-do list. Her backpack stays partially packed for the next adventure, her heart stays eager to connect through cuisine, and let’s just say, her beauty routine is something to rave about.
Between airport visits, you can find her taking long beach walks, coffee in hand, cultivating meaningful conversations, or exploring new recipes with my people from her home in the Carolinas.
She closed out the 20th century 23 years ago and now she’s living and writing about all the ways she plans to squeeze the most life out of her 20s.
Why a Lifestyle Blog?
When thinking through how to embellish, compress, and represent my style and purpose for Allie In Her 20s, three memories and a few influential social media figures kept surfacing.
Some people call them influencers, digital creatives, bloggers, or lifestyle gurus, but I call them guiding lights. For years, I have watched Ashley Brooke’s fashion-focused content, tried Daphne Oz’s recipes, and listened to Valeria Lipovetsky’s marriage, parenting, and self-love tips.
I have felt a push towards the purposefully transparent lifestyle they each share online and have, over the years, developed a sense of identity related to the content they create. Allie in Her 20’s is my action towards this vision. This vision that started with a few core memories.
Allie in Her 20s is a healthy lifestyle blog focused on fashion, beauty, food, relationships, and travel. With the marketing experience gained from these many varying industries, Allie founded the Define Normal Agency. While the Allie in Her 20s blog is a space to explore, educate, and build a community around what impacts everyday life, the Define Normal Agency is a way to take action on these happenings. Let’s work, grow, and learn together–ultimately transforming the media landscape.
Conclusion
The 20s are for challenging all the facets of life that we’ve previously pocketed as “normal.” These ten years expose our fear and give insight into what is worth failing for. It’s for trusting that the late nights and difficult conversations will ultimately lead to chapters of learning. Our 20-years are about defining how the perfect day is spent, asking meaningful questions, and having dialogues that build soul-nurturing relationships.
The three stories above reflect the person I am and started building years ago. Finding what makes us feel beautiful, providing travel tips and itineraries, & finding ways to build and maintain healthy relationships are all key elements in building the best-of-20s.
